An ambitious and goal-oriented person who has a passion for creating website from concept and managing it. I like building website from layout, managing content and fixing up problem in existing website. I have worked on creating websites from UI/UX design wireframes, converting it into actual code and making it responsive. I have a background in creating conceptual multimedia content for digital and video projects. My strengths are being able to follow instructions, problem solving and a willingness to take on complex challenges and projects.
I recently completed a contract with the Medical Council of Canada (MCC) in the role of Web Design Specialist. I was responsible for the overall strategy, development, re-design, and management of MCC’s website. I provided strong project management skills and knowledge of web design, as well as coordinated the review of the information architecture and identifying content management best practices.
In my former role as the Web & Multimedia Specialist at the Canadian Centre on Substance Use and Addiction (CCSA), I have coordinated website projects for CCSA microsites, as well as advised teams on web strategies and best practices. Working for CCSA has helped me work with vendors and the subject matter experts from a wide variety of backgrounds and has taught me how to collaborate and communicate effectively with all involved. My background in web and multimedia has helped me develop leadership skills, strong verbal and written communication, and the ability to handle pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Previously, I worked for Canadian Foundation for Healthcare Improvement (CFHI), migrating content from the former website to their new website templates in the content management system, Sitefinity.
